360 Degrees

It started one day after I received a Groupon Notice from a Pousada in Rosa Beach, in my daily E-mail. I leery checked the link, out of pure curiosity.

Yet, I didn’t see a coupon for 50% off, or even better.

What I saw was this website… And with it this 360 degree virtual tour / virtual heaven / of reality – fantasy land.

She spins left, she spins right, upside down, upside right, every which way you want.

I got lost in my spinning moment, remembering those nights I had a bit too much to drink and would watch the ceiling spin for hours.

I eagerly anticipated the next few hours when I would announce this to my girlfriend after sweating and meditating at Pilates.

I anxiously arrived at what used to be a door from her shack which no longer exists today.

And spoke so softly, looking up, I told her.

“I felt something growing. A feeling I knew many years before. A stirring sensation in my tummy, my throat, my mouth… I know there is no turning back now.”

As she greats me with fresh water and looks at me. We both knew this moment might never be told.

Fireworks burst from my eyeballs, like steams of light, with anticipation.

And we knew, we could never look back.

We smiled, drank water, and watched her growing garden, as it bloomed like  love lights from heaven.
